Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager manages the Human Resources Department and assists the Vice President in all personnel matters.  Is a liaison between employees and Management/Benefit Administrators.  Represents the Department in Leadership Meetings and may represent the company in various community organizations.

 

Job Duties Include:§ Assists in Analysis of Cost of Living increases§ Responsible for the maintenance of Employee Handbook§ Assists in recruiting and hiring professional, technical and support staff§ Conducts employee orientation, employee termination processing, and maintains employee files and recordsManages the annual employee performance review processCoordinates employee benefits which include Cafeteria Plan, 401(k) Retirement Plan, Health, Dental, & Life Insurance PlansMaintains 401(k) Retirement PlanPrepares Pension year-end report for discrimination highly compensated testing, etc.Managers Workers Compensation claims, and prepares annual Workers Compensation audit reportMaintenance of Company/Employee compliance for Alarm Company License (including ACE’s Alarm Company Employees), and Notary Public

 

Job Requirements:Must have five years experience or equivalent formal training in the Human Resources fieldMust be able to maintain confidentiality, security, and represent the company well in situations involving other companies and government agenciesMust have general knowledge of computers, employment and safety laws and regulationsMust have good communication and organizational skills

§ Bachelor’s degree in appropriate field or equivalent experience is required
