We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform pre-employment substance abuse testing.The Procurement & Telecom Billing Specialist is responsible for acquisitions of all hardware, software and software tracking, and maintenance. Will negotiate with vendors as required, place orders, track and communicate status to the IT requestor(s), receive and verify orders. Regarding Telecom responsibilities, will be responsible for the acquisitions and deployment of all company issued cell phones and PDA devices. Responsible for tracking all telecommunication invoices for the Information Technology department from receipt to payment. Keep abreast of Corporate I.T. agreements pertaining to telecommunication agreements. Ensure proper coding of all I.T. invoices for the general ledger accounts and other related tasks as assigned. Due to the nature of information shared, the strictest level of confidentiality is required of this position.Responsibilities:1. Manage/complete requests for hardware, software, cell phone, PDAs, etc. via the IT Solutions SRS System.2. Negotiate with vendors for best pricing and follow-up on orders as needed.3. Secure return authorization for equipment as required.4. Match vendor invoices with Purchase orders and Packing Slips.5. Obtain proper signatures in order to process invoices for payment.6. Update all spreadsheets with invoice #’s, check date and check #’s.7. Manage all Software tracking by vendor and quantities purchased to ensure Software Compliance.8. Review discrepancies with IT Financial Analyst for correction and/or explanation.9. Track/maintain specific budget items per cost center within IT.10. Coordinate distribution of received Telecom devices and/or secure equipment in the interim of distribution.11. Review, research, audit and process payment for Telecommunication invoices (including Wireless) for multiple locations. 12. Audit all Telecom charges by line item, obtaining corrections and refunds when applicable. 13. Process all invoices for payment including coding (General Ledger and cost center), copying and/or scanning and tracking payments. 14. Manage Telecom services by location, verifying charges and disconnecting or adding services when applicable. 15. Identify and track Telecom cost savings by providing reporting on cost avoidance and credits obtained. 16. Work closely with telecommunication vendors, I.T., Accounts Payable and Finance to ensure accurate billing. 17. Provide actual reported ledger information to IT Finance for monthly reporting. 18. Other related tasks mutually agreed to with manager.Qualifications Required:1. High School Diploma and two or more years experience working within an Information Technology organization.2. Good planning, organization, project management and tracking skills.3. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.4. Strong judgment and ability to effectively interact with vendors and team players at all levels within the organizations.5. Knowledge of basic financial accounting and a basic understanding of MS Access and MS Office.Skills ~ Administrative background
