I.T. Technician II

The I.T. Technician II will be responsible for all I.T. help desk related functions at our Business Development office in Dallas, TX. I.T. related functions include, but are not limited to: basic hardware, software, printer, and VOIP phone troubleshooting and connectivity; network management; user education; asset tracking; hardware, software, and printer maintenance; light file & print server maintenance and user troubleshooting. The individual will keep track of work using an online ticketing system. The individual will also take support calls as time permits (~50-75% of normal work day) from field offices and from our corporate office in Fort Worth, TX.

 

·  Responsible for daily I.T. help desk support for all Business Development office employees with light server and networking

·  Responsible for maintaining accurate records of work completed using a ticketing system.

·  Responsible for assistance in supporting corporate office and field offices around the U.S.

·  Timely reporting to I.T. Coordinator of inventory transactions such as inventory receipt, issuance, transfer and disposal.

·  Schedules and reconciles periodic physical inventories to ensure accuracy.

·  Copious ticket notation is essential

·  Organizes equipment, supplies and paperwork

·  Remote support using remote access tools and VPN connectivity



·  Fast paced environment requiring self-management

·  Professional attitude, humility and attention to detail are a must

·  Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills

·  Ability to communicate and work well with other departments

·  Open communication encouraged

·  Experience with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word a must
