IT Support Technician

IT Support Technician will be responsible for the installation, repair and preventative maintenance of personal computer and related systems at our Terre Haute, Indiana Call Center.  Perform all installations, upgrades and backups of software and hardware applications.  Troubleshoot software and hardware failures and identify network problems when they relate to network connectivity issues.  May assist Network Administrator with troubleshooting of networks.  Technician will also provide assistance to employees through phone, email, and field service support. Adhere to policy and procedures that are set forth by corporate I.T department.  Handle trouble ticket requests.  Respond and resolve end users problems with desktops, laptops and PC peripherals and troubleshoot issues that arise.Requirements:A+ Certification required. MCSE certification is plus. 1+ years of PC / technical support experience in a corporate environment. TCP/IP knowledge is required.  Knowledge of Windows based operating systems including XP, Windows 98 and Windows 2000.Successful candidate will be able to quickly and accurately identify technical issues on a wide variety of hardware and software issues. Self Starter, fast learner with great analytical skills. Hardware/Software installation & troubleshooting experience required.
