Implementation Manager

Implementation Manager - Must have proven technical ability in ITand Voice systems implementation.  Attention to detail and good records keeping are a must. Experience working with teams of technicians and managing customer expections through tp successful order/project completion.  Past experience working with Department of State's Voice/IT system or networks and locations is desirable.  Able to manage teams working on complex changes in customer networks and providing on time delivery. Be the team lead for large and complex Voice/IT installations. Provides resource management scheduling for large projects and day-to-day within the same team of personnel .  Understanding of networks and facilities (to include T1,T3,OC48 and secure telephone instruments).  Other responsibilities include security audits, pre-survey assessments, design, implementation and configuration for systems installations and large office moves. Works with project managers, business analysts and contractors on solutions to address customer requirements. Researches and provides information on service related issues and proposes solutions for trouble situations. Available for On-Call Supervisor duties.

 

Educational Requirements: A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.  Certifications from appropriate training institutions, such as Avaya and  Cisco  are desirable.

 

Experience Requirements:  This position requires six years of experience the last nine calendar years.

 Requires an active Top Secret clearance
