Infrastructure Generalist
CIBER Inc is currently looking for an Infrastructure Generalist for one in the Bellevue, WA area. Job Duties: The Infrastructure Generalist will provide and perform advance technical tasks as well as provide support and guidance to level two NMC analysts Provide necessary technical support for planning, project management, project analysis of high and low bandwidth circuit and network components Follow processes, use tools to effectively, and efficiently do problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, resolution or disposition Attend meetings, and perform special projects and administrative duties as assigned Provide performance feedback to analysts and escalate any issues to management as necessary Job Skills: Working knowledge and use of Lean/ITIL tools, methods and principles Well-developed communication skills and a professional attitude Understand, accept, support and implement change in a rapidly changing environment Effective and experienced in working cross-functionally in a team environment Ability to learn many and varied technologies quickly and thoroughly Commitment to self-development through an active, continuous learning plan, desire to help peers be successful Understanding of Networking and modern Network Design (VPN, WAP, PPTP) and protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, FTP) Understanding of Security standards and protocols. Excellent oral and written communication skills Prefer a working knowledge of and understanding of Remedy/BARS, Netview, Node Manager, Netcool, SNAP and other network fault management and analysis tools. CCNA is a plus. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree and typically 5 to 8 years' related work experience or a Master's degree with 3 to 6 years' or a PhD degree with 0 to 3 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
