Inside Sales Coordinator - Texas

Based in Dallas, as part of our Sales team and in close cooperation with our customer service department, your main responsibility is to conduct outbound customer calls, and qualify the outbound leads for US sales. 

More specifically, your duties will consist of:

 

- Contacting prospect to qualify their needs;
- Provide customers with product information;
- Documenting all relevant information in our Customer Relation Management (SalesLogix) program
while ensuring the integrity of the CRM database;
- Coordinating follow-up of sales opportunities;
- Responding to customer enquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner;
- Participating in the continuous improvement of our customer service quality;
- Work closely with the US sales team in identifying key opportunities for follow up and in developing
  an outbound calling plan for each sales region;
- Provide follow up activity for leads generated at trade shows and industry events;
- Support new product marketing efforts with focused customer calling campaigns.

 

You will also be required to perform any other task related to this position.

 

Required Skills

 

- Technical background in Optics or Telecommunication
- Sales background
- Knowledge of customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship (CRM) software will be considered will an asset.

Academic and Professional Requirements

 

Education: University degree in a relevant technical field.

 

Pertinent experience: At least 2 years' experience in a customer service or sales position in an industrial or international environment.

 

Language requirements: English written and spoken.
