Junior Designer

You are an energetic, creative, detail-oriented Interactive Designer, who is motivated by a new challenge. You love concept work, but you also enjoy getting all the details right, down to the pixel. You have a background in web and possibly some print design, and you might even have coded some of your own sites. We’re looking for someone who wants to go in the mobile advertising business. Enjoys working with technology on a daily basis.

This is a full-time position. We’re looking to expand our network of in-house Designers. You have 1 to 2 years experience as a Interactive Designer, and enjoy designing on a small-scale. Your role will be part concept, part comps, part production. You may also be involved in testing your work on mobile phones in our office. You’ll be collaborating with other functional team to make each piece work properly, and working under the design direction of an Art Director.

General Purpose

Assist the development of advertising solutions for a wide range of clients. Balance creative thinking with interpersonal skills. Demonstrate an ability to justify concepts internally as well as externally.

Main Responsibility Area
Develop skills in basis theories, practices and procedures in one skill area through formal training. Design layouts and executions of concepts as instructed by senior creatives. Responsible for implementation and production. Maintain accuracy, quality and timeliness of deliverables.

Key Tasks

Assist other members of the creative team on larger projects and take responsibility on smaller projects, less client facing.

Design and execute brand solutions for internal and external teams

Creates the documentation necessary to convey the design solutions to environments by sketches, storyboards, digital renderings, animations, etc.


Present creative concepts and their creative rationales to internal team


Communicate effectively and work constructively as a team member


Maintain accuracy and quality of deliverables. Acute observation and an eye for detail


Work efficiently and prioritize in order to meet deadlines


Increase knowledge via on the job training and tutelage of senior creatives
Offer solutions and suggestions when appropriate


Qualifications

Individual Portfolio
Typically 1-2 years based on performance. Degree or equivalent. Must have appropriate proof of skills (creative portfolio). Online preferred. Proficient in standard advertising industry software. Either all or a combination of the following: Adobe Creative Suite, QuickTime Pro, and Microsoft Office.
