Lead Technician and Field Technician for Commercial and Residential Audio-Visual Systems

Leading integrator of Commercial and Residential Audio-Visual Systems is looking for a Lead Technician and Field Technician to work on both Commercial and/or Residential jobs.  Lead Technician should have at least 5-years experience working in the field in the audio visual industry.  Must have mastered all aspects of audio-visual field installation and should be able to fully commission a system be a team leader and possess excellent leadership qualities and should be able to lead a field team from rough in to job completion. Field Technician should have at least 1-year experience working in the field pulling cable and doing basic cable terminations. Applicant should be able to read a standard audio-visual engineering drawing package, pull cables working off drawing package, and fully terminate cables (solder & crimping, etc).  Should have experience mounting and installing ceiling projectors, wall mounted plasmas, ceiling speakers, and most general audio visual field devices.  Applicants must have excellent communication skills and possess excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills, CTS or CTS-I Certification is a plus.

 Responsibilities will include but not be limited to 

 · All aspects of field audio-visual integration

· Lead team members from the start of the installation to job completion (Lead)

· Upload Crestron & AMX control programs to control processors (Lead)

· Problem solving and troubleshooting of issues that comes up during an installation

· Full working knowledge of commercial construction methods such as ceiling deck construction, wall framing and structural engineering 

· Interaction with clients, general contractors, electrical contractors, etc

· Daily field reporting to project manager
