Major Account Provisioner

PURPOSE:  Provision services for medium to large business accounts and perform data entry for account billing set up.

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:  This position is responsible for the provisioning of all dedicated services including dedicated access DS1/DS3/OC3, pt-to-pt services, frame relay, local T-1, local PRI, DIA, Integrated local or LD T-1, advanced toll free number applications, advanced billing set ups and all other services offered by the company.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:  Enter data as required into company and/or vendor systems for account set up, service ordering and billing. Perform order verification for services listed above Work with all vendors and/or coworkers to ensure highest quality product delivery. Maintain company and customer expectations for order intervals. Utilize advanced knowledge to create a positive customer experience. Actively participate with other company departments to obtain information or resolve issues that could affect service delivery. Serve as 1st level contact and customer liaison for customer order. Reporting of activities as required. Perform all other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:  2-4 years telecommunications experience, provisioning experience preferred. Proven understanding of telecommunications services. Superior customer service skills and escalation management. Ability to perform administrative tasks including data entry. Strong analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Work, PP) Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Business, Engineering or Communications preferred.
