Manager Business Operations

JOB SUMMARY:
Manages all functions related to Engineering financial processes to include capital management and tracking needed for the cash based capital guidance of over 55 million in capital projects. Oversight for Regional Engineering and Operations capital and operating budgets including monthly forecasts, cash accounting, Travel and Expense tracking and vendor maintenance contracts.

MAJOR DUTIES:
- Oversight for Regional Engineering and Operations reports such as: productivity status, technician activity tracking and related reports.
- Analyze Data from billing system, Brio, Essbase and other platforms and ensure that proper month-end reports are filed timely and accurately.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and the monthly P&L forecasting process.
- Participate in division and corporate meetings representing the Seattle Market.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the work force. Contribute to the overall success of the engineering team efforts by assisting peers and working collaboratively across the organization
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or the recognized equivalent in work experience or a combination of work experience and education.
- Experience in accounting/ finance preferred.
- Experience in CSG, CIFA, Essbase, Oracle and Brio preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to plan, prioritize and organize effectively
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Cable Television industry desired.
