Manufacturing/Production/Operations Company: Integra Telecom Reference Code: 1267 Manager Central Office Summary:Coordinates all Central Office and collocation activities including equipment, line and network additions. Provides responses to customers’ service and repair needs by efficient management and project planning of Field Service Technicians.  The Manager directs 8-10 craft/technical level positions. The Manager Central Office act’s independently to over see the day-to-day operations of the Field Service Technicians.  The Field Service Technicians provide telephone and DSL installation and repair services. Program Company provided CPE to maximize service capability, and record and maintain complete customer installation and repair records.Typical problems include prioritization of tasks using a fixed number of employees in a rapidly changing environment. Scheduling employees to cover the department 365 days/year, 7days/week.Complex Problems include understanding and dealing with various telephony systems and switches, equipment, Operational Support Systems, etc., used in the coordination/provision of service with other departments. Typical challenges include accurate, timely, and courteous resolution of customer repair problems.  Development of a highly skilled and motivated workforce which includes on-the-job training, formal training and positive reinforcement to the employees. Requirements:Eight years of telecommunications industry experience, which demonstrates knowledge of telephony and central office switch administration and/or equivalent education, training and experience.  2-5 years of which is related to electronic or telephony installation.
