The Manager, Digital Media will manage and produce customer/prospect facing outbound digital media activities which include: video, podcasting, electronic kiosks, mobile devices, flash presentations, email and vidcasts. This person will be responsible for developing standards, managing templates, creating and managing approved vendor lists, coordinating activities globally in support of Corporate level and Marketing goals including launches and campaigns.

Primary Qualifications:

·  Five+ years experience in a high tech corporation (networking / telecom / computing)

·  Exemplary communication skills

·  Experience working with a team developing web-based communities or social software

·  Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate well with all levels of management

·  Experience in understanding web analytics & connecting it to stakeholder value

·  4 year Bachelor's degree in related field, or 1-3 years corporate web experience

·  Project and time management skills

·  Strong team player, self-starter, eager to tackle challenging projects and multiple assignments

·  Able to translate business goals, initiatives and technical information into projects

·  Journalism or media experience a plus

 

 

Important Duties:

·  Engage and communicate with Product Management to source and schedule Subject Matter Experts to deliver content via video, vidcasts, or other digital media formats

·  Manage digital media editorial calendars in conjunction with the core business areas to ensure strong coverage of product/service launches, support opportunities, campaigns, events/shows and education

·  Identifies and presents opportunities to maximize digital media activities on www.juniper.net

·  Develop roadmap to expand digital media program to create value-added support for products, services and solutions offerings on www.juniper.net

·  Defines measurement points to show performance/effectiveness and reports results to Senior Management, Product Management, Launch and Campaign teams

·  Evaluate, select and manage external media vendors/producers

·  Create and manage an archive of digital media resources for reuse

·  Manage a budget and one direct report
