Manager of Advanced Services Group

First Communications is a growing 10+ years old, local telephone (CLEC) and long distance carrier, seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized individual to manage our advanced service department.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·         Direct the activities of the Major Account Provisioners for all dedicated services including dedicated access DS1/DS3/OC3, pt-to-pt services, frame relay, local T-1, local PRI, DIA, Integrated local or LD T-1, advanced toll free number applications, advanced billing set ups and all other services offered by the company

·         Management of Tier II Repair Team

·         Direct contact with, and escalation for, large customer accounts

·         Develop and enhance relationships with vendors, agents and sales departments.

·         Document and standardize processes

·         Recruit high quality candidates for open team positions.

·         Perform project and program management to affect timely delivery and meet customer expectations for service performance.

·         Create and maintain Quality Control programs within assigned functions to ensure highest quality customer service.

·         Identify training needs and develop programs accordingly.

·         Reporting of activities as required.

 QUALIFICATIONS

·         5 years of Telecommunications Experience

·         1-2 years of Management experience

·         Presentation preparation and delivery

·         Ability to create and interpret reports

·         Strong analytical skills

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills

·         Microsoft Office experience (Excel, Word, PP)

·         Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or Communications preferred.
