We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with strong attention to detail, that will assist with a wide variety of both internal and external marketing events. Professionalism is key, as this person may work directly with our executives and customers from time to time. The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills. Responsibilities: Assist with company events including site openings, conferences, customer advisories, company meetings, Annual Kickoff, President's Club, etc. (approx. 40 events per year) Track budget expenditures and process all invoices for the events Assist with proposals and contract approvals Compile data and create spreadsheets in Excel Assist and support by carrying out administrative assignments as required including organizing, filing, copying, boxing & shipping event materials Order & track promotional items with company logo Assist other members of the Marketing team with special projects as needed Qualifications: Minimum 2 years experience working in a professional business environment Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook Must be a team player Able to work independently - accountability is a must Some college preferred **Equinix is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
