Job ID: 144850Position Description: Join a growing team of marketing professional focused on mobile technologies in the government, education and medical (GEM) market segments.The Marketing Manager is responsible for coordinating and/or implementing marketing projects designed for the government market segment. Working in cooperation with channel marketing, product offers and other headquarters marketing teams. The marketing manager will coordinate marketing collateral and public relations projects and other promotional activities to drive AT&T brand awareness and product demand and generate market, channel and store traffic.The Marketing Manager will provide strategic oversight for national-level industry events and sponsorships, and be responsible for planning and executing several customer events. He/she will also be responsible for placing executives in speaking positions at these events.The Marketing Manager will be held accountable for staying within assigned budgets and timelines, maintaining accurate records of expenditures and report results of activities. Additionally, he/she will be responsible for managing executive association memberships, maintaining a lead/prospect database that is developed as a result of shows and promotional activities, and coordinating the generation of market/competitive intelligence reports on an as-requested basis.The Marketing Manager role will also include administrative elements such as invoice processing, meeting or seminar/event scheduling and maintenance of an event/promotional calendar, event information on a shared network drive.Qualifications:•Bachelor’s degree required. *5 -7years well-rounded marketing experience required. Marketing experience within high tech, sofware and/or wireless/telecom industry highly preferred.* •Previous communications or public relations experience a plus.•Excellent demonstrated communication skills – verbal and written.•Demonstrated experience in both firsthand event execution as well as experience and proficiency in managing vendors•Demonstrated ability to build and foster cooperative working relationships across multiple parties.•Ability to work independently and a self-starter; demonstrated ability to execute a project from ideation to completion.•Ability to execute aggressive project schedules and work well under pressure.•Ability to work across teams and across different departments with shared resources•Extremely well organized, strong project management, outstanding time management skills and strong ability to multi-task.•Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth professional environment.AT&T is an Affirmative Action / Equal Opportunity Employer, and we're committed to hiring a diverse and talented workforce.
