Media Buyer

Develop strategic media plans and participate in all marketing planning meetings; Follow campaign performance, and develop flexible contingency plans for low-performing campaigns; Plan and Buy all West Palm Beach region media, including TV, Radio, Out of Home, Print, ADVO, FSI and Web Advertising; Provide local market insight and expertise; Create and provide traffic instructions to creative shop and stations;
Negotiate partnership opportunities with local advertisers to maximize media buys; Develop dual reciprocity with media partners; Provide competitive media data (Direct TV, Dish, SBC etc); Provide detailed post-analysis on media performance, and communicate key learning's and strategy changes; Develop media strategies to target specific audiences; Manage all cross-channel marketing inventory on ad-inserted networks to maximize the marketing campaigns and achieve Comcast marketing goals; Prepares various reports as required; Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Five to Eight years of broadcast and radio direct planning and buying experience; Knowledge and experience in planning and buying print, internet, email and web advertising; Bachelor's degree in Advertising/Marketing or equivalent experience; Extensive knowledge of media research tools; Excellent interpersonal skills; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to work independently and resourcefully; Proficient with Microsoft computer software and technology.
