Mgr Training & Development
Partners with the corporate, division, region and Comcast U teams to execute learning curriculum and programs, for regional call center employees, which support the business imperatives, enhance performance and gain a return on investment to the business.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, TASKS
- Implements Learning & Development's role and objectives in concert with the roles and objectives of NCD and region.
- Partners with regional management to identify business needs and opportunities for improving performance, identify performance metrics for improvement and communicate progress.
- Collaborates with internal stakeholders and external resources to customize and/or deliver learning programs that address identified needs. Partners in the customization of curriculum as needed.
- Partners with the Regional & CU teams to identify business needs and opportunities for improving performance, identify performance metrics for improvement and communicate progress. Establish and implement metrics, reporting and auditing procedures to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Manages training plans for new product launches, identifies and shares best practice training solutions and coordinates efforts to identify skill gaps and recommends training solutions to enhance employee performance.
- Assists in the development of the trainer's platform, facilitation skills, and customer care knowledge base.
- Supervises direct reports. Establishes individual performance goals and reviews performance against goals. Provides coaching. Plans, approves, and implements programs for the timely development and progression of the individuals.
- Facilitates learning and/or manages the learning process, insuring optimal delivery system and that performance issues are resolved.
- Represents the Region CU team at meetings, off-sites, seminars, workshops, and other events.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in education, instructional design or related field, or equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three to five years of customer care and/or sales training experience required.
- Two plus years of supervisory/management experience or equivalence.
- Excellent facilitation skills, oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at a time.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of instructional design principles is preferred.
