Neighborhood Sales Representative (South Bay)

JOB SUMMARY:
Make video, high-speed and phone sales through door-to-door contacts and at local events like the San Jose Grand Prix or Jazz festival. Its that simple. This year our representatives are on track to a median take-home pay (base + commissions) of $84,000 and our highest performer should earn $100,000 We also offer a comprehensive benefits plan and the excitement of being part of a high performance team

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Major Duties:
- Effectively communicate to and develop rapport with customers through door-to-door sales and at events.
- Evaluate customer needs and make appropriate recommendations.
- Increase customer understanding of Comcast products and pricing, as well as competitive advantage over satellite or other competitors.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Complete associated paperwork in a timely manner.
- Bring a "Think Customer First" perspective each and every day.
- Handle post-installation follow-up with customers as needed.
- Demonstrate professional conduct and appearance at all times.
- Punctual and consistent attendance for daily check-in, assigned trainings and regular meetings.
- Perform other duties as requested
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- High School Diploma or GED
* Highly motivated and success driven
- Prior sales experience not required, however, experience with door-to-door or consumer sales is highly desirable
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to speak more than one language is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work Tue-Fri 12p-9p; Saturday 9a-6p

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Frequent to continuous driving, walking, bending, reaching
- Occasional exposure to inclement weather
- Occasional to frequent exposure to uneven surfaces, hills, stairs, heights
- Occasional use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.
- Frequent to extensive local travel
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds on a frequent basis (sales materials)
- Must have a valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record
