Network Performace Engineer

Description
Run daily and analyze standard FSC performance reports (MSC Performance Index) to ensure KPIs being met Identify problem areas (results outside of FSC performance standards) and open trouble tickets or work orders to appropriate groups
Compare internal report results against Ericsson NetQB results. Coordinate resolution of key performance issues with LECs, IXCs, and various other groups. Cognus report (release cause/code & ISUP messages) Run Geoprobe reports Perform audits and health checks (Core related items) B# analysis MSC Parameter consistency audits Ericsson Size Alt analysis(SAE), Spatial memory allocation Review counters and measurements to validate report data and KPI verification Work with FSC to diagnose counter / KPI errors Conduct monthly performance meetings with FSC Monitor NSS/BSS Utilization / Traffic analysis (bi-weekly Traffic Report) Generate and send out the report Identify anomalies Coordinate and attend discussions with equipment vendors regarding new and existing software and hardware roadmaps Develop statistical and traffic related reports on all network elements summarizing the overall health, performance, and capacity Strong understanding of the GSM technology, VOIP technology required Proficient in database and MSExcel is a plus
