Operations & Logistics Project Manager (Beijing, China)

Opertaions & Logistics Project Manager (Beijing, China). We are recruiting in San Diego area for this position. We are looking for someone that wants to relocate back to Beijing, China.



- Represent Operations & Logistics in product program team and balance interests in between R&D and O&L.
- Work with R&D, sourcing, marketing and care project managers to create & ensure the most optimized feasible product concept.
- Ensuring product design matches well with high volume low cost manufacturability and End to End DSN.
- Drive Operations & Logistics target setting for the programs (which are aligned with manufacturing and BU strategies and roadmaps).
- New manufacturing technology study base on business case result.
- Preparation and follow up of Operations & Logistics project plan (incl. resource planning, risk mgmt planning, budgeting and project reporting).
- Manage lessons learnt feedback from PD and PE phases; ensure they are well studied in product concept.
- Business knowledge to analyze cost effective for End to End DSN & Logistics Set up and Planning.
- Lead a DFM team, manage O&L activities inside product program and review sub-project process.
- Drive high customer perceived quality
- Manage O&L activities inside product program at Concepting phase
- Lead and Drive collaboration between the program team, factories and Time Zone Logistics for End to End DSN Set up.
- Arrange project handover from concept to PD phase, and keep monitoring for OL aspect implementation / execution


- BS or MS in Engineering Background
- Product Creation Process (Operations & Logistics processes) knowledge
- Experience of high volume low cost electronics manufacturing and/or Operations.
- Experience of supply chain management and/or logistics.
- Understanding of product road map / Concepting development process and dynamic;
- Understanding of End to End Demand Supply Network & Manufacturing key technology & strategies & 6 Sigma
- Concept of Total Landed Cost & End to End DSN setup and rationale.
- Able to create and compare business case for various scenarios.
- Strong experience of project management including excellent planning, execution, leadership and communication skills.
- Fluent English and readiness for traveling.
- Strong leadership and drive multi-virtual teams to achieve the program target, together with Factory Network.
- Proactive and flexible enough to handle open issues and close issue with solid and concrete action plan
- At least, 5 years experience for operations or project management.
- Innovative & adaptive to new market environment and creative mindset
