Akron/Cleveland Area Telecommunications Business has an Immediate Opening for a PBX Technician

 

 

Job Title: PBX Technician

 

Job Description:

 

Technician must have certifications and experience on at least one of the following PBX Systems.  BCM certification and Nortel certification and experience a plus.

 

·  Nortel BCM Family (50, 100, 200, 400)

·  Nortel Option Family (11, 21, 51, 81)

·  NEC NEAX 2000

·  NEC NEAX 2400

·  Mitel SX200

·  Mitel SX2000

 

Responsibilities:

 

·  System programming and installation

·  Perform moves, adds and changes

·  Perform routine and emergency service calls

·  Cable plant design and installation

·  Perform end user training on telephone and voice mail systems

·  Complete corresponding paperwork for service calls

 

Required Skills:

 

·  Minimum 5 years experience installing PBX systems and key systems

·  Experience in installation and trouble shooting of CAT3, CAT5e, CAT6, Coax and Fiber cable systems

·  Manufacturers certification on at least one of the following PBX Systems: Nortel BCM, Nortel Option, NEC NEAX, Mitel SX.
