Position Summary

2020 Companies is looking for a DETAILED and ACCURATE Payroll Coordinator. 

The ideal candidate must:Possess the initiative and ability to work independently with minimal directionMaintain a high level of productivity in a high volume, fast-paced environmentPossess the ability to work accurately and quickly under deadlines with frequent interruptionsBe available for overtime as neededMUST be a team player

 

Responsibilities Process payroll in compliance with federal, state, and local laws Process direct deposits, tax forms and garnishmentsAct as a resource person for all payroll related payroll-processing issuesIdentify and document any actual/potential payroll related issues and recommend solutionsPrepare special reports using excel spreadsheets and assist supervisor with special project as neededMaintain extreme confidentiality of employee informationProvide excellent quality customer service to internal employees as well as outside sourcesMay be involved with preparing and processing of manual checks

 

QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent requiredFormal education/training in Accounting/Payroll a plusPayroll processing experience/data entry experience a plusWork experience with ADP a huge plusProficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Word and MS-Outlook Multi-tasking, organizational, decision-making and self-motivating skillsExcellent attention to detail requiredAbility to multi-task and be a team player with positive attitude and strong analytical, oral, written and interpersonal skills

 

Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive Wage: $13-13.50/hour ($13.50-14.50/hour for Admin II positions; MUST be able to pass credit check: required)Paid time offMedical benefitsExcellent working environment
