We currently have an opening for a Cisco Solutions Procurement Specialist in Austin, TX. The Procurement Specialist will enjoy involvement in the full-life-cycle of Cisco Solutions operations interacting closely with the eLoyalty project teams, solutions architects, and partner contacts.
As a Cisco Solutions Procurement Specialist, you will:Be responsible for providing pricing reviews of proposed client solutionsAssist with Bid Assurance processProvide Cisco Software and Hardware price quotesPlace Cisco software and maintenance orders, as well as other vendor orders (Nuance, Qovia, Verint, etc.)Assist in the completion of contract formsAct as site administrator to Cisco partner web siteSupport Cisco Solutions Operations Manager in any other activities related to Cisco Solutions Operations.
Required Skills and Experience:Bachelors Degree required, Finance preferredKnowledge of Cisco Product Catalog, in particular Cisco Unified Communicaitons products (including Contact Center products)Prior finance background in the technology spaceExperience with e-commerce procurementAbility to QA complex software and hardware proposals with minimum amount of supervisionExcellent documentation skills (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skills using email, phone, and presentation materialsKnowledge of Cisco Sales solutions cycle or Cisco Sales Expert certification, a plus
