Product Manager
PURPOSE: Own and manage the applicable telecom products from sales to service. Drive strategic management of applicable products across North America residential markets. Provide tactical leadership, life cycle manage the product, and identify/implement product enhancements in alignment with ACN strategy. Areas of management include: reviewing new product proposals; conducting impact evaluations including detailed competitive analysis and customer/profitability forecasts; creation of product business plan; development of requirements document; coordination of product development process with functional areas; drive operational, service/support, and business process improvements; document process flows; manage product testing; coordinate product launch with Marketing (including marketing and training tools).
I. MAJOR FUNCTIONS
A. Responsible for P&L of product set and reporting/forecasting productivity, revenue, margin and attrition metrics
B. Determine product design and requirements to meet and exceed customer’s expectations, including competitive positioning
C. Facilitate business processes with vendors and business partners, spearhead support process and other key stakeholders
D. Set product performance/quality standards and coordinate product performance tracking across customer experience (ordering, payment, service)
E. Develop marketing strategies to drive sales, revenue, product trial/use, product awareness and customer retention, with Product Marketing Manager
F. Drive inter-company peer group on specific needs of the product to ensure we can support, provision and market to projected plan
G. Meet strategic competitive positioning, revenue, gross margin, and customer retention objectives
H. Manage customer segmentation to drive new sales and service opportunities
I. Manage, update and monitor all product content/info (website, FAQ’s, training)
J. All other duties as requested.

III. FUNCTIONAL PREREQUISITES
A. Bachelors degree in Marketing, Finance or Business Management, prefer MBA
B. Minimum of 4+ years experience in product or business analysis
C. Experience in telecom industry a plus
D. Product management of residential products preferred
