Product Marketing Manager
IPC Information Systems is a leading provider of mission-critical communications solutions to the world's largest financial services firms, as well as to public safety; government security; energy and power; and transportation organizations. IPC offers customers a suite of products and enhanced services that includes advanced Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology, and integrated network and management services to more than 40 countries.
We are currently looking to hire a Product Marketing Manager who will be responsible for development and coordination of IPC’s successful product and services global marketing launches and ongoing support of existing products and services. Goal is to successfully market and achieve unit and revenue objectives for IPC’s products and services in close partnership with product/services management, sales and regional marketing.
Specific Responsibilities:Work with product/services management to develop the overall marketing strategies and tactics across all of IPC’s product/service lines.Develop and execute global marketing launch plans for all new products/services.Develop and deliver with product/services management specific external marketing materials/programs: sell sheets, presentations, case studies, powerpoints, press releases, white papers, “flash”, and customer events, advertising, IPC web site content, email campaignsDevelop and deliver with product/services management specific internal marketing materials: product/services product and sales guides, training materials, field marketing updates, sales incentivesOngoing marketing support for existing IPC products/services.Develop recommendations re: programs and initiatives to improve IPC’s product/services success based on knowledge of industry, customers, technology and competitors.Work with third party partners as required on various products/services marketing initiativesResponsible for management and update of appropriate sections of IPC intranetParticipate as part of the IPC Marketing Team on projects across business units such as the IPC web site, the Customer Portal, corporate-wide events and the IPC Intranet.Some travel may be required.
Key Skills Required:Demonstrated ability to manage delivery of projects/programs in a cross functional, geographically dispersed environment in a timely and effective mannerDemonstrated ability to produce high caliber marketing materials for use internally and externallyOutstanding writing and presentation skillsOngoing interaction with product/service management, sales and sales management, as well as other departments such as MIS, finance, legal and operations as requiredSuperior Powerpoint, Word and Excel skillsDemonstrated leadership skillsExcellent interpersonal skills at all levelsSuperior organizational skillsDemonstrated ability to research and analyze useful industry and competitive information
Education/Experience:Bachelor's Degree requiredMBA helpful8+ Years experience of demonstrated marketing/sales successMarketing experience should ideally be multi-disciplined: product marketing, marketing communications, field marketing, product management, etc.Ideally previous experience in financial services technology, specifically with institutional trading
