Job Summary /Responsibilities:
Experienced Regional Sales Professional must be able to sell complex telecommunications software, hardware, hosting, and network solutions to multi-national, national, and regional corporations, state and local governments, and educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of selling Customer Interaction and Contact Center Solutions with a proficiency in developing and executing direct regional sales plans and leading indirect channel partner programs. The Regional Sales Professional must be able to cultivate and manage C and E level executive relationships, and deliver sales, revenue, and profit results from the sale of network hosted contact center services. Regional Sales Professional must be an over-achiever with strong leadership, communications, and technical acumen combined with a consistent track record of acquiring new clients and retaining existing customers. Professionalism, integrity, and a history of winning in competitive markets are essential qualities for success. Specific responsibilities include:
· Retain and expand an existing base of high profile network hosted contact center customers in the assigned region (s) and sell new hosted IVR, ACD, CTI, WFM, CRM, and automatic client notification services to this base of commercial and government accounts in order to exceed your total billed revenue objectives.
· Develop Regional Sales Plans in conjunction with the Regional Qwest Business Markets, Government and Education Services, and Alternative Channel Partner Organizations that target forecast, and sell high value prospects that are interested in network hosted contact center services to improve their client retention, customer services, sales, brand loyalty, and financial performance.
· Identify key prospects, discover important business, technical, and financial challenges, develop account plans, create winning proposals, negotiate pricing and contracts, and close high impact network hosted customer interaction solutions consisting of IVR, ACD, CTI, WAS, WFM, CRM, and automatic customer notification services to exceed your new sales revenue objectives.
· Lead the coordination of sales, project engineering, application development, program management, legal, and operations teams in order to deliver professional pre-sales, post sales, and on-going account management services that improves how our clients manage their clients.
· Accountable for developing a regional database of high potential prospects of Qwest customers and non-Qwest prospects by working with Qwest Marketing to drive understanding and interest in Qwests Customer Contact Solutions. Develop break-through strategies for high impact results.
· Deliver inspirational and informative presentations to customers, prospects, internal sales teams, and industry trade groups on the high performance capabilities of Qwests portfolio of Network Hosted Customer Interaction Solutions.
· Participate in Qwest training programs to continuously educate yourself in order be an expert in the contract center industry, and to execute the administrative requirements of your job.
Basic Qualifications, Skills and Education:
· Experienced outside sales professional with 5-10 years of consistent performance in the telecommunications industry with a thorough understanding of voice, data, and converged network services.
· Preferably 3-5 years sales experience in Contract Center and Customer Interaction Solutions industry selling products and services such as telecommunications equipment, software, and network services that incorporates IVR, ACD / Switching, CTI, WAS, WFM, CRM, hosting services, and IP networking technologies.
· 5-10 years experience selling complex solutions to large multi-national, national, regional, and government clients.
· Proficient in MS Word and Excel and able to learn and navigate web based Qwest information, reporting, training, and proposal development tools
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
· Valid Drivers License and reliable transportation required
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Education:
· Graduate degree preferred
· Extensive experience leading regional organizations that sell high value premise or network hosted contact center solutions.
· Thorough understanding of advanced technology and financial modeling of hosted contact center solutions vs. premise based hardware and software systems.
· Significant industrial and government client relationships in the region that your will represent.
