Location Carlsbad CAJob Responsibilities In this high visibility position as Program Manager in ViaSat’s Mobile Broadband business area, you will lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team focused on developing mobile satellite communication solutions to domestic and international enterprise customers.  This key pro-active management position includes all aspects of managing an engineering development project including project planning, development, and execution, budget and schedule management, team motivation, leadership, vision, customer relations, and growth of the business with established customers. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in Program Management of engineering development projects, with a proven track record of team leadership, problem solving, interfacing with internal and external senior executives, performing analysis, making trade decisions, utilizing formal program management techniques, and accountability.Experience/Skills Required BSEE or science degree (MBA a plus) 5+ years experience managing integrated engineering development projects Excellent partnering, leadership and relationship building skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to groups Demonstrated ability to drive multi-faceted projects to successful completion with limited oversight Finance experience a plus Preferred SW: MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project, Oracle ERP a plus Ability to multitask and prioritize Technical knowledge of satellite communication industry a plus  Education Requirements BA/BSTravel Required Up to 25 percentUS Citizenship Required?
