Project Management Office Director

Overall Description:

Responsible for the overall direction and management of Centennial’s revenue
projects through designated project managers and coordinators, ensuring
consistency with corporate strategy, consistency of process across projects
and customer satisfaction with the products.  Lead the development of a PMO
office following the principles and guidelines of PMI.

Tasks include:

Establish project management policies and guidelines
Prioritize projects and/or ensure consistency with corporate strategies
Assign projects to project managers
Approve commitments on behalf of the organization
Ensure satisfactory liaison with customers at project level
Act as a knowledgeable resource
Mediate conflicts

Other duties may be assigned

Experience requirements:

10-15 progressive years in relevant project management environment
Exposure to Telecommunications or IT environment

Education requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s preferred
PMP Certification Strongly Desired
