Avion is currently have  urgent openings for Nokia and Ericsson RNC Engineers.  Below are the descriptions for the positions: Please scroll down to review the job descriptions.

Title: Ericsson RNC Engineer  Number of Openings: 15

 

RNC O&M

Work with the on-site switch techs & RNOC personnel as well as provide support to tier 3 Engineers in isolating faults and problem resolution

Working experience of Ericsson RNC, RXI, Node B and Back haul network

Trainings & Certifications for Ericsson RNC & RXI

Minimum 2 years of experience working as a NOC / Swicth tech with exposure to RNC

Periodic monitoring of system performance & alarm handling

General knowledge of WCDMA systems and RF knowledge

WCDMA Systems Overview

 

Fault isolation and problem resolution in the RNC & RXI nodes (both HW & SW) and it's interfaces for network issues

O&M skills on Ericsson EMAS, OSS & Telnet

Pref. Node B overview

 

Create/send/follow up with CSRs to FSO

Experience with performance management (including OSS business objects)

 

 

Conduct preparation for package loading (it is Customer’s Responsibility to load and test)

General experience with work order and trouble ticketting systems 

 

 

Routine node maintenance, node backups and health checks for RNC nodes

Knowledge of Core Network and ATM

 

 

When required, perform Configuration Management of parameters on the RNC & RXI

Preferably, experience with MO shell for any high level trouble shooting as required

 

 

Assist with technical matters related to RAN System, i.e. handling of RAN nodes (RNC and RBS) and all of various interfaces.

 

 

 

Offer expert knowledge concerning parameters and configuration towards the RNC and Node Bs

 

 

 

Review existing system routines and if required, modify /create new temporary routines and follow up of all software contents of the system.

 

 

 

Title: Nokia RNC Engineer Number of  Openings: 7

Candidate must have a 4-year college degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
2) 2+ years experience supporting implementation and troubleshooting RNC elements in wireless communications networks including 5 Years to telecom Experience. Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. 
3) Understanding of wireless data networks including IP networking, ATM, 3G related Planning/ Architecture
4) Understanding of wireless network implementation and operations services.
5) Understanding of network interface protocols, protocol analyzers and network specifications.
6) System-level understanding and knowledge of 3G/UMTS.
7) Candidate works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.  Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Interacts with senior internal and external personnel.  Should be able to carry out day-to–day work with no or very little instruction
