Seeking real-time embedded software engineers to design, development, implement and maintain features on core optical switch product line

Responsibilities include:

Analyze, design, and develop features on SONET/Ethernet optical switch.

Support SDLC including design, development, unit testing and supporting integration and validation as required.

Minimum Skills:

3 years of telecom real time embedded software development experience

3 years of optical switching, DWDM, SONET/SDH, Ethernet experience

3 years of object-oriented software development experience with proficiency in C++/Java/J2EE, etc.

Experience with RTOS, i.e. VxWorks, pSOS, embedded Linux, etc

Experience developing multi-threaded applications

Experience in data communication protocols, i.e. Ethernet, TCP/IP, MPLS, etc.

Education:

BS or MS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineer
