Recruiter Position Purpose: Provide world-class recruiting support by attracting, developing, retaining and rewarding top talent through visionary strategies. Assure compliance of all employment/labor laws through programs, practices, policies and actions. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for Leadership of the new hire process for all Call Center positions. Develop recruitment strategies by partnering with hiring authorities. Aggressively and creatively source, recruit, interview, assess and present top-quality potential professionals to managers for hiring consideration. Effectively utilize recruitment related marketing tools. Coordinates a cost effective advertisement campaign in partnership with T-Mobile's approved advertising agency. Proactively seek and develop a pipeline of qualified candidates. Utilize a variety of sourcing techniques to screen, identify and select qualified candidates including cold calling, Internet sourcing and direct referrals. Facilitate phone and face to face interview schedules. Attend internal and external career fairs. Form partnerships with outside recruiting agencies. Conducts all new hire orientations and ensures compliance of all new hire enrollment. On-going "selling" to the T-Mobile staff, the importance of recruiting to the continued successful growth of the Company, while encouraging interview skills development and training with interview team members. Marketing of the Employee Referral Program. Work closely with Workforce Planning to ensure compliance with a flexible staffing plan. Ensure background checks are conducted in a timely manner. Extend offers of employment, prepare offer letters and respond to candidates not selected. Assists in identifying areas of improvement to ensure acceptable levels of employee turnover in compliance with metrics. Tracks and reports progress towards recruiting metrics to HR Manager and Call Center Management. Maintain and update applicant tracking system for EEO/AAP compliance and quarterly Acts as a liaison between call center employees and Corporate on issues specific to general benefits, payroll and overall HR questions. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Consistency regarding knowledge of Federal and State laws and practices ensuring compliance in employment/labor, standard human resource practices and procedures. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and strong judgment. Must possess excellent communication and people skills. The ability to prioritize tasks and follow-through on projects. Strong organizational, time management and leadership skills. Flexible and able to adapt and respond to changing situations, including preparedness with alternate plans. Work well in a team setting. Education, Certification, Training and/or Minimum Qualifications: 2-3 years of successful direct recruiting experience required; preferably in a high volume environment. Prior telecommunications, call center, retail or manufacturing experience is preferred. Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education. Knowledge of human resources practices as well as federal and state laws related to employment. Proven success using the Internet as a recruiting tool. Must be PC and Internet literate; including Microsoft Office applications and resume tracking database. Ongoing professional development: PHR/SPHR preferred.
