Recruiter - Delta Region Call Center
Lead the recruitment process for the Delta Region Call Center by assisting management in developing an effective recruitment strategy including the sourcing, interviewing and placement of applicants, and the retention of existing staff to achieve a stable, and cost-effective workforce MAJOR DUTIES:
- Work closely with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills for current and future staffing needs.
- Manage recruitment process from initial requisition through hire. This includes job description design, sourcing, screening, pre-employment checks, compliance, offer development and delivery.
- Develop recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings. Write and place job advertising in various media. Develop job postings and coordinate internal job posting program.
- Review applications and interview applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and specific position. Screen and refer candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.
- Coordinate participation in, set up display, and work at job fairs.
- Develop a constant pool of candidates for staff and management roles through networking and sourcing. In addition to placement of advertisements, utilize cold calling/direct recruitment, Internet mining, and other proactive recruitment methods to accomplish this goal.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with a variety of professional, minority and community groups as well as educational institutions to foster recruitment efforts.
- Partner with above organizations in designing and participating in recruitment events such as job fairs and presentations regarding the organization and career opportunities.
- Adhere to all FCC/EEO compliance mandates and quarterly/annual reporting requirements.
- Work with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.
- Work closely with existing employees on career counseling issues.
- Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or business-related field preferred with 3-5 years recruiting experience in a high-volume, fast-paced recruiting environment.
- Must possess a high degree of professionalism. Must have the business savvy and acumen to generate buy-in from colleagues, internal clients and must have the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, clients and candidates during all phases of the recruitment process.
- Solid knowledge of current recruitment and full cycle process, as well as, selection and retention philosophies with a proven track record of managing innovative recruiting initiatives and campaigns.
- Exemplary interpersonal, written, oral and organizational skills required
- Must possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills, time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have strong PC skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook. Experience with internet applicant tracking systems, such as Brass Ring, is a plus.
- Strong community relationships/contacts to be capable of establishing immediate sourcing avenues for entry level and specialized/technical positions.
- BrassRing experience preferred. Previous Sales experience also a plus.
