Regional Sales Manager

Responsibilities:The REGIONAL SALES MANAGER will co-develop the strategy and associated tactics for closing RFN business, a) to Nextel International Inc., within a team environment and, within a predefined geographic region of South America.  The REGIONAL SALES MANAGER will be responsible for identifying the opportunities and applications for RFN products and services. This includes networking throughout the country organizations (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Mexico and Peru) and developing the deepest / most senior, decision making level contacts within Nextel International Engineering and Operations organizations.  Work closely with Nextel International RF Engineers, Operations Engineers, Real Estate/Site Planning and Project Managers to address both their network build needs. Develop an account strategy that includes establishing clear roles and directing specific activities of other RFN team members. Execute a clearly defined business development role (tactics) with the objective of advancing a sale to the close.  Position RadioFrame Networks, Inc. as the vendor of choice.Professionally prepare written documentation required for client presentations, RFP’s and other documents as required.Utilize advanced business development skills to advance business, lead the sale and build business case.  This includes:Detailed technical requirements analysisCost versus technical benefit analysis and make financial payback determinations Professional board room presentations to groups Successfully achieve predefined sales objectives.Work independently as a remote employee; be a self starter with good team work and communications skills.Regularly report detailed client information for purposes of keeping company contact and communication databases as well as customer profile current.  Reporting must be in accordance with company standards as implemented. 

Knowledge/Qualifications:Post secondary education (preferably a Business Degree / Technical Diploma or Degree)Fluency in Spanish and English required (Portuguese is an asset)Experience working with Latin American companies desiredMust have valid US passport and willing to travel extensively to South AmericaSales Management / Large account sales / Carrier sales – experience (five years minimum)Information Technology, Wireless Telecom and other related industry knowledgeProven Track record; sales and team leadership and complex technology solution based sales Understands business-to-business sales on a corporate levelAbility to work in a “start up”, fast paced, ever changing work environmentExcellent relationship development skills and communication skills – verbal and written
