Regional Sales Manager - Telephony Solutions
JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for maximizing dealer account sales in assigned territory by managing existing accounts and developing new accounts by representing Toshiba's telecommunications division on end-user calls and by conducting executive briefings and presentations. This position will be based out of your home office.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Identify, target, and develop accounts to increase market share.
· Expand profitable customer base.
· Meet or exceed assigned quota.
· Manage customer relationship and customer satisfaction.
· Provide full telecommunications solutions by effectively utilizing TAIS and business partner resources.
· Facilitate fulfillment of customer orders.
· Perform other duties as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
· BS/BA Marketing, Business Admin, Communcations, or other related degree or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience. or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience
· 5 years demonstrated revenue-driven sales within the Telecommunications industry with 2 years selling telephony hardware (Key Systems & PBX) to interconnect/Telco with heavy product/applications knowledge and 2 years selling for a manufacturer with distribution management experience is an absolute must.
· Ability to identify and resolve dealer/end-user product/service issues.
· Must possess a strong internal drive to succeed, be able to self-motivate, and to meet or exceed projected accurate forecasts.
· Strong ability to foster enthusiasm and teamwork, presents a positive and forward-thinking attitude, and is committed to the Company's goals.
· Excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve business issues and build win-win solutions.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and pursuade with a positive attitude.
· A model team player who demonstrates supportive relationships with peers, customers, partners, and corporate executives.
· Excellent presentation skills with the ability to hold the interest of a technical or non-technical audience.
· Proficiency with full MS Office Suite, Outlook, Lotus Notes and internet applications.
· Key/PBX, IP, and Voice processing hardware sales experience is required.
· Up to 50% regional travel is required.
