Regional VP, Commercial Services

Leads the development of Comcast's business services within the region. Provides direction and oversight to the development of Region ops, marketing, sales and customer care capabilities and ensures that the region's sales goals and forecasts are consistent with the Division and Company's long range strategic direction.

Reports to: Regional Senior Vice President

Duties:

- Overall accountability for commercial subscriber and financial results. Work across functions to encourage effective investment in and development of the commercial business.
- Responsible for developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts within the region.
- Develops sales objectives including sales volume and product profitability, accurately forecasting annual, quarterly, and monthly revenue streams.
- Deliver and exceed budgeted sales and net subscriber results.
- Partner with Regional Leadership to develop and expand inside, outside and alternate sales channels. Responsible for prioritizing and developing necessary sales channels training and tools. Responsible for benchmarking channels results across the region and sharing best practices.
- Work with Division and Regional leadership to develop and execute commercial marketing strategies encompassing acquisition, upselling and retention.
- Develop and deploy appropriate marketing materials and sales training to rapidly capitalize on the introduction of new products and features within the commercial product line.
- Manage budgeting process for regional commercial services and provides input to divisional budget.
- Manage commercial capital/construction budget and spending
- Partners with Division and field leadership to develop needed tech ops and engineers processes and staff
- Other Duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering or a related field. MBA or equivalent work experience in Telecommunications and/or Internet Service Provider industry preferred.

Experience:
- 5 years experience in a business-to-business sales management capacity, 1+ in a Regional Leadership capacity.
- Business services sales experience required with a strong preference for Telecom and/or Internet industry experience; Apartment or Hotel experience is not considered a substitute.
- Experiences across data, voice and fiber services preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience implementing sales principles and practices with a blend of experiences in both small, entrepreneurial companies and large organizations preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional/matrix organizations in the successful completion of assigned deliverables.
- Extensive experience budgeting and forecasting subscriber performance, proven success in meeting or exceeding budgeted performance.
- Experience evaluating and responding to RFQ's/RFI's/RFP's and other business opportunities.
- Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, human relations, presentation, and organizational skills.
