Cricket Communications has multiple opportunities for individuals looking to contribute to an organization that rewards your success.Position OverviewAssumes direct responsibility for all day-to-day store operations, including:• Targeted sales achievement• Store financial management• Merchandising/promotional activities• Customer service and retention• Audits • Employee training • Merchandising/promotional activities• Inventory management • Cash handling, reconciliations and deposits• Customer satisfaction measured by surveys• Store safety and securityEnsures attainment of all net sales and revenue goals including:• Gross sales/net sales • Accessory sales and margin targets• Rate plan take rates• Enhanced services targets – features/text messaging/insurance sales, fees, data products and all other add on products• Automatic bill payment targetsAssists District Director/Manager in establishing budget; operates store within approved budget. Exhibits solid understanding of financial/business metrics and reports. Analyzes business operations and trends. Develops and executes plans to correct improvement areas. Manages the human resources function for assigned store including:Recruits, selects, hires, trains, develops and evaluates all store employeesImplements management practices, which ensure store effectiveness and positive employee relationsPartners with the regional Human Resources team as required by company practices/policiesFacilitates timely handling of employee relations issuesPositively influences and motivates all employees by maintaining a team approach in the day-to-day management of all employeesProvides performance feedback to employees on a regular basisMakes employee development a priority Facilitates regularly scheduled employee meetingsEnsures employees complete all training as assigned in a timely mannerDevelops store sales strategies and facilitates tactical implementation. Exhibits knowledge of competitive landscape.Ensures adherence to Company policies and procedures.Assists customers, handles customer escalations and promotes a positive customer experience.Assists District Director/Manager & regional finance team in preparing the monthly operations review.Demonstrates technical competence for products and services sold.Maintains a relationship with the Network Operations Department that allows for ongoing knowledge of, and participation in, network development, customer-related network issues and resolution of these issues.Engages in community activities and business development that support business goals.Proactively informs District Director/Manager of key issues and challenges. Owns store issues and proactively creates improvement plans.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline or equivalent experience.Minimum of 3 years proven retail sales management experience (interactive sales process, commissioned sales)Minimum of 3 years experience managing against financial goals, budgeting, forecasting and managing resultsMinimum of 3 years experience in selecting, managing and developing employees (proven leadership skills) PreferredMinimum of 5 years proven retail sales management experienceMinimum of 3 years previous experience with back office systems (billing, call center, etc.)Minimum of 3 years previous experience managing retail operations for a wireless telecom service provider.
