Revenue Assurance Analyst

Requirements This position within the Financial Assurance group will be responsible for Revenue Assurance leakage management and leakage prevention by performing detailed audits that enable revenue recovery and/or cost savings opportunities. This will include reporting of operational data, creating and monitoring business metrics, trend and root cause analysis, error resolution, managing dashboards, and communicating results to stakeholders. The analyst will assist the Margin Enhancement team in researching, documenting, and resolving functional issues relating to systems/process issues that result in negative margin customers. The analyst will help in optimizing current processes and tactical functions including implementing new controls, documenting error resolution processes, and working with offshore resources. The analyst will also be responsible for auditing Managed Modem usage from the switch to bill and for resolving potential leakage issues.Essential Duties: -Auditing of customer invoices to assure revenue billed -Daily monitoring of usage trends and control points -Variance and root cause analysis and error resolution -Monitor key data as it moves through processes and systems to ensure integrity in reported results; resolve exceptions -Ad hoc reports and data analysis -Identify opportunities for improving billing and/or possible disconnection of services -Work with multiple departments to solve for negative margin customersRequired Knowledge & Skills: -Ability to read orders and contracts to investigate pricing -Ability to understand provisioning systems and circuit design detail -1-3 years in Finance, Auditing or Business Process Improvement -Microsoft Excel Skills -Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, work in a fast paced environment, manage multiple priorities with an exceptional eye for detail -Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills -Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Self motivator and creative thinker -Demonstrated ability to work in an ambiguous, fast paced, constantly changing environment -Degree in Business, Finance or ITPreferred Knowledge & Skills: -Microsoft Access, SQL, Brio -Project Management Skills#MAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.
