Location: US-TX-Dallas Requisition ID:  REQ55964532 (Post ID:67665544) Job Level:  ManagerThis position is responsible for the strategy, creation, and execution of all North American Enterprise SMB & Data marketing programs and offers.  The position reports to the Vice President, North America Marketing.  Key deliverables for this role include, cross-functional, integrated marketing efforts targeting small-medium businesses and driving the Nortel data portfolio in all customer segments. Key Responsibility Areas:• Analyze market opportunities, develop integrated marketing plans, and lead the execution of programs into the market via direct and indirect channels.• Develop commercial offers that create a compelling customer and channel value proposition for Nortel products and solutions.  Create business case to support campaign initiatives.• Manage all elements of the marketing mix through a robust, cross-functional plan, including:–  Creation of sales tools & training–  Marketing promotions and direct marketing campaigns–  Utilization of events and customer/channel engagement as appropriate–  Development of communications messages and supporting material–  Execution of vertical industry marketing as appropriate–  ‘Back Office’ integration with ordering, quoting, and supply chain tools–  Launch programs and maintain accountability for business case targets/metrics across NA organization• Exceptional analytic skills with a focus on business results for monthly senior executive operations reviews which includes marketing/sales scorecard, metrics and ROI.  ·  Work cross-functionally to align Nortel and Channel partner teams to support/drive programs. Close interaction and planning with product team to align product POR with market requirements and marketing initiatives.• Present to all levels of executive leadership to gain support of and report on status of initiatives Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:• BA/BS with majors/concentrations in marketing, finance, economics.• Proven understanding of networking and telecommunications portfolios and the ability to interface with product organizations to drive integrated plans.  Software experience preferred.• Able to work effectively with people at all levels both internally and externally• Proven track record of working with direct touch and channel sales teams to deliver revenue.• Extremely effective in employee selection, leadership, mentoring and establishment of high standards for an organization.• Effective influencer, ability to motivate others and  committed to achieving goals and targets Must be able to actively challenge status-quo thinking and encourage others to find innovative ways to improve business performance.·  Manage a team of professional marketers to achieve lead, revenue, and awareness goals for Nortel in the SMB and Data markets• Prior SMB experience a plus• Strong communications skills – verbal and written.  Experience with industry analysts and media a plus. Travel Required:  Minimal travel Position Type:  Full Time, Employee Relocation assistance:  None,  Homebase Eligible:  NO Shift:  Day/First Shift Business Unit:  Marketing
