SOFTWARE SUPPORT ENGINEER - Entry Level

Responsibilities include:

· Coordinate with support staff to provide superior first-level customer support via telephone and email.

· Perform initial issue investigation and debugging including case administration functions.

· Support initial system set up tasks and provide remote support to field service engineering team

· Maintain a strong working knowledge of all proprietary software.

· Makes additions and modifications to Service Desk knowledgebase to ensure the information for troubleshooting issues and proven resolutions are repeatable by all support teams.

· Ability to communicate effectively with customers who may have a limited knowledge of computer systems operations and equipment.

Requirements:

· BS Computer Science or work equivalent; One or more years relevant experience preferred.

· Outstanding verbal and written communications skills. 

· Excellent organizational skills and interpersonal skills. 

· MSSQL (Stored Procedures, Ad Hoc queries using ISQL, EM)
