SVP Technology / CIO

 

As Senior Vice President of Technology (CIO) for this communications company, you will lead a technology organization that not only supports business operations, but also builds and delivers the systems which generate the companies revenue.  In this role you will be tasked with the following:

 

n Lead this organization by example

n Instill a sense of ownership and pride throughout the organization

n Develop, implement and enforce organizational structure and processes that not only exceed our customers delivery expectations, but give the employees a sense of pride and ownership in their roles

n Create and environment where employees are empowered and have the support and tools necessary to be motivated and confident in their ability to do their jobs

n Earn the respect of your organization

 

Successful candidate must have a contagious passion for their work and must have built such an organization before.  Additional requirements include:

 

n Experience managing large ongoing Programs delivering systems to large and demanding customers

n Must demonstrate the ability to implement processes and organizational structure that improve efficiencies, boost employ moral and meet external customer deadlines

n Have experience leading organizations that build complex technology / communication systems that generate company revenue

n Be forward thinking and knowledgeable of developing technologies (Wireless communications, GPS, Location Based Services, Navigation Systems, etc.).

n B. S. in Computer Science or related degree and 10+ years experience in a leadership role

 

Candidate chosen will be given the financial resources and support from the CEO to build such an organization.
