SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

 

Combest is experiencing dynamic growth and has an immediate opening for a System Administrator at our Corporate office in Norcross. You will install, configure, and monitor Combest’s LAN and WAN locally in addition to support of our remote offices.  You will have responsibility for troubleshooting as well as a variety of maintenance, evaluation, and training tasks to ensure our LAN/WAN performance meets Combest and user requirements. You will manage network security and serve as the primary technical consulting resource regarding use of hardware/software for business needs.  You will handle additional upgrades, supervise software installations and monitor backup/recovery processes for all locations in addition to insuring network documentation and disaster recovery planning.

 

Requirements:

 

Minimum five plus years experience as a LAN/WAN Administrator utilizing TCP/IP, SMTP, basic routing VPN networks, firewalls, etc.

 

MCSE (20003 or later) with Exchange

 

Network +/A+

 

Excellent hardware/software troubleshooting skills

 

Superior customer service skills with a desire to excel in team environment

 

Self motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision

 

Ability to manage multiple priorities, problem-solve and make decisions effectively under pressure

 

Excellent interpersonal/communication skills

 

Preferred: 

 

Active CCNA

 

Virtualization Experience (VMWare or equivalent)

 

System Duplication Experience (Ghost or equivalent)
