Our client is a leading global provider of mobile data infrastructure solutions to mobile operators.  These cutting edge products are powering the networks in over 40 leading mobile operators.  Due to continuous growth, we are seeking a highly-qualified Direct Sales Manager for the Latin America market.  This is a direct sales role requiring extensive travel to Latin America and face-to-face interaction with clients.  This opportunity possesses a possible career track to a Regional Sales Director position depending on both company expansion and individual performance.

 

 

Sales Manager into Mobile Operators (Latin America)

 

 

Job Description:

 

Reporting to the VP of Sales based in Europe, you will be based in the USA and working from a home office with extensive travel to Latin America.  Duties are:

 Conduct direct and indirect sales into mobile operators within the Latin American market.

 Implement sales campaigns from initiation through contract negotiation.

 Developing strategic sales plans and execute accordingly.

 

 

Job Requirements:

 Bachelor’s degree.

 Minimum of five (5) years experience in mobile telecommunications sales, preferably to Network Engineering and Marketing departments.

 Proven relationships and senior-level contacts with Latin American mobile operators and business partners (System Integrators, local agents, HW vendors, Network Equipment Manufacturers).

 Proven track record in multi-million dollar network applications sales opportunities and experience establishing a presence in new and/or emerging markets.

 Proven experience in and success with long sales-cycles spanning 6 to 12 months.

 Solid understanding of mobile telecommunications network topology, protocols and infrastructure, consumer wireless technologies such as PDAs and cellular phones coupled with a strong desire to learn new technologies.

 Solid interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills

 Must be proficient in SPANISH and PORTUGUESE (reading, writing and comprehension).

 Ability and willingness to travel frequently.

 Experience working for or with an Israeli company is preferred.
