Sales Supervisor

Join the leadership team at Comcast! Comcast Cable in San Carlos has an opening for a Sales Supervisor within our growing sales organization. The Sales Supervisor will lead one of our residential direct sales teams in the San Mateo county area. The proposed shift for this position is Tuesday through Saturday. The proposed hours are 11:30 am to 8:30 pm Tuesday through Friday and 8:30 am - 5:30 pm on Saturday. Supervise a West Bay Direct Sales team to attain its sales, connect, and penetration goals while providing exceptional customer service. Supervisor responsibilities include managing day-to-day activities of in-house sales team, sales coaching, daily activity reports for sales reps, weekly and monthly sales reports, and strategic lead management and tracking.

Supervise and motivate sales team. This requires weekly in-person one-on-one meetings with direct reports to provide positive feedback and perform a minimum of four ride-alongs on a weekly basis. This also requires delivery of timely employee appraisals as well as continuous (but at least quarterly) formal feedback sessions.

Work interdepartmentally to resolve employee customer escalations. Provide timely feedback on process failures concerning employee's sales that impact the Comcast Customer First scores.

On a daily basis review sales orders and daily activity logs for accuracy. Check out each employee into the field with Leads, focus, goals and pitch review. Check in each employee into the office at the end of the work day and review sales made, issues, escalations, etc.

Review and ensure that bi-weekly or monthly commission and bonus payouts are accurate. Track any additional sales incentives for the team and deliver timely incentive feedback to employees. This includes reviewing and signing off on incentive and commission payouts.

Meet monthly and quarterly team sales goals as set by the Sales Manager.

Maintain team at full or near-full staffing at all times.

Administer appropriate corrective disciplinary actions and supporting documentation to address employee performance and/or behavioral issues. This includes the proper documentation for all corrective actions, and timely delivery of feedback to employees.

Supervise any special programs, processes and projects associated with attaining and achieving the sales department's goals.

Be the sales subject matter expert of the department. This includes sales abilities, technical expertise in auditing and installing video, digital, and HSI services.

Work as team leader at sales events as needed.

Other duties as assigned.

Punctual, regular, and consistent attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or equivalent practical experience

- 2 years sales experience, 3 years preferred

- 2 years of prior sales supervisor experience preferred

- 1 year working within the cable and/or communications industry highly desirable

- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent problem identification and solution skills a must

- Strong time and project management skills

- Proficient in MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Must have a valid California drivers license and satisfactory driving record

- Reliable form of personal transportation (business mileage reimbursed at standardized rate)

- Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
