Job Posting ID: 1321Working Location: Ellenwood, GeorgiaEmployment Type: Full-Time RegularPosition Summary:: Intelsat General is currently seeking a candidates who will work in a state-of-the-art Secure Operations Center that proactively monitors Governmental and Commercial customers networks. The Secure Operations Center monitors, isolates, identifies and resolves customer IP and Satellite Network related problems. The controller provides 1st level troubleshooting support for customers at all skill levels and escalates problems to appropriate internal or external departments.Minimum Requirements:Duties and Responsibilities:•Provide superior customer support to all if Intelsat General’s customers.•Proactively monitoring customer networks using Intelsat General’s monitoring tools and procedures.•Ticket Documentation; following Standard Operation Procedures.•Provide 1st level troubleshooting and diagnostic support with end customer at all skill levels.•Quickly and accurate identify the segment where the fault lies and calls the trouble out to the appropriate vendor.•Liaison with Intelsat General vendors and subcontractors, to insure they are proactively working to resolve customer outages within their network.•Follow escalation procedures to insure customer outage notifications are communicated to the appropriate service departments. •Constantly communications progression of fault restoration to the customer •Must be able to handle high call volume and high-pressure environment.Preferred Qualifications:Education: Minimum of two years of college, technical school education or military technical training.
