Senior Account Manager

 

 Hudson Valley Data Net, a division of Lightower, is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager. This position is responsible for the sale of Hudson Valley DataNet’s products in the assigned region/territory/key accounts. The position requires locating and qualifying new customers, presenting DataNet products to these customers such that the DataNet offering meets or exceeds the customer requirements, and winning competitive bids in response to RFQ’s/RFP’s.  This position works closely with engineering, construction, accounting and legal to ensure quality services are offered to our customers. ResponsibilitiesEstablish annual Sales Plan for the territory, with revenues consistent with, and included in, the DataNet business planDevelop comprehensive Sales Plans on a quarterly and/or as needed basisGenerate and maintain formal quarterly sales forecasts Develop and implement account plans, including revenue projections, for major clients annually for market sector areas of assigned responsibilityEstablish and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key customers  Manage the installation and implementation of the key customer networks to the committed schedules, maintaining customer satisfaction with DataNet

Job Knowledge

Required:Computer literacy with a working knowledge of MS Word, MS ExcelFundamental understanding of LAN, WAN, and telecommunications networksFundamental knowledge of sales process, account management and customer support

 Job Experience

Required:3 years experience in direct sales, or sales technical support for a communications focused products and/or service

 Education

Desired:  Technical or engineering degree, or equivalent work experience in a technical industry, preferably telecommunications or data communications.

Additional Information
