Senior Account Manager/Project Manager
Ultreya Solutions Group currently has openings in Chicago for an Account Manager with strong drive and experience in consulting, management and application lifecycle development. This position will require the ability to manage and grow an account portfolio for an organization that specializes in business and IT consulting for the telecommunications and government markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in account management, business development, project management and sales of IT services.
The Account Manager's responsibilities fall broadly into the following categories.
· Sales management:
o Develop and cultivate new client relationships
o Work with business units to realize sales opportunities
o Develop and communicate account capture strategies for all major accounts within territory
o Accurately forecast expected business sales
o Run promotional program's activities to increase the profile of the company in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, and Latin America
· Relationship management:
o Executive-level client interaction
o Advise client executives on decisions and risks that affect the entire engagement
o Shape client expectations with respect to the engagement
· Financial management
· Contract management
· Work management
· Risk management
· Resource management
Job qualifications are listed below:
· A four-year college degree and/or relevant work experience
· Proven experience establishing and maintaining connections with the most senior levels of a client organization
· Excellent communication skills
· Practical sales experience: Several years managing and growing a multi-million dollar account or portfolio of accounts
· Business orientation: Comfortable with plans, finances, contracts, and negotiations
· Excellent consulting and interpersonal skills
· Demonstrated knowledge of the business processes for telecommunications companies in at least 2 areas (provisioning/ordering, billing, collections, network management, and operations)
· Demonstrated knowledge of telecom in at least one of the following: wire line, cable, and broadband
· Ability to travel to client sites (up to 100% travel)
