Senior Business Analyst - Billing US-GA-Atlanta Description:TITLE: Wireless Billing Business Analyst This position will be responsible for defining Functional Business Requirements and Use Cases for Coxs Wireless Product Offering, specifically related to Wireless Billing (including Mediation, Rating/Billing and Invoicing). This position will act as a liaison between the Business and IT, to ensure the overall Wireless Billing needs are met. Also act as liaison between Cox Billing, external vendors, and other IT groups. Responsibilities include participating in Wireless strategy sessions to help define overall product approach, documenting functional requirements, reviewing analysis/design documents, defining functional user test cases, participating in unit and end to end testing, and providing implementation support. This position will act as a subject matter expert (SME) for Wireless Billing. Represent the Wireless Billing team at overall Wireless strategy meetings to ensure Wireless Billing needs are being addressed. Work with Business to understand Wireless Billing business needs. Document Wireless Billing (including Mediation, Rating/Billing and Invoicing) functional requirement needs. Coordinate with other Wireless IT groups to ensure Wireless Billing business needs are understood and ensure interface needs to/from Wireless Billing are being met. Prepare Test Plan document for Billing, outlining proposed approach for System testing as well as End to End testing Define user test cases (including regression test cases) to fully meet the Wireless Billing requirement needs. Work with Business to understand Wireless Billing business needs. Review Analysis/Design documents to ensure Wireless Billing functional requirements needs are being met. Coordinate Configuration set up activities related to Mediation, Rating and Billing Participate in System and End to End testing. Provide pre/post implementation support to ensure Wireless Billing needs are implemented successfully. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Wireless Billing Assist with training documentation, methods and procedures (M&Ps) and operations guides. Develop user documentation for IT-provided Billing reporting or processes as deemed necessary. Ability to analyze information, problems, situations, practices or procedures to: define the problem or objective, identify relevant concerns or factors, identify patterns, tendencies and relationships, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and identify alternatives and their implications. Ability to work as part of a team; collaborating with colleagues Ability to prioritize assignments in order to complete work in a timely manner, when there are: changes in workload, changes in assignment, pressured of deadlines, competing requirements and heavy workload. Working knowledge of related product offerings, technological directions and emerging technologies Ability to think strategically, focusing on both the big picture as well as technical details. Ability to utilize structured project management principles including project coordination, planning, analyzing, quality assurance, issue management and project execution/closure Ability to understand and help design technical architectural and system integration aspects.Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS: Four-year college degree in Business, Information Systems Minimum five years working in an IT or business related experience in telecommunications. Experience with ICOMS a plus Experience with Microsoft Office a must Project Management Professional certification a plus Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, with great attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision. Ability to focus on primary objective yet also consider `big picture implications Works well under pressure, and meets deadlines.
