Senior Business Analyst - Sales
Job Summary Avis Budget Group is searching for a dynamic Senior Business Analyst to join our Sales Development department based in Tulsa, OK. This position contributes to the company's success by preparing all monthly and ad hoc financial analysis relating to the Revenue Development group. The candidate will also develop sales reports related to revenue performance and prepare all departments' annual expense budgets, track and report on effectiveness of promotions and account acquisition. Finally, the candidate will prepare monthly variance analysis and tracking of lead sources for effectiveness and close ratios. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - See disclaimer below for further information. The essential duties and responsibilities as well as knowledge, skills and abilities include but are not limited to the following: Own and create all reporting and analysis relating to the Revenue Development team. Provide specific ad hoc reports, graphs, and charts relating to sales performance. Prepare monthly reports on employee level sales results for performance management. Provide monthly variance analysis for all Revenue Development overhead departments. Track headcount and prepare annual overhead business plan for group. Collect, analyze, and summarize data relating to account acquisition. Perform ROI analysis relating to cost of acquisition and lifetime revenue streams. Provide monthly report on small business rebate program. Liaison with data warehouse team to identify & implement systems designed to provide more comprehensive business information for the revenue development business areas.Successful candidate will possess the following Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of the financial calculations, reporting and valuation methodologies Understanding of relational database applications & front end query tools Working understanding of computer application tools to perform financial calculations Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Excellent time management, planning and organization skills Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment and act with a sense of urgency Contribute individually with minimal supervision and as part of a team Superior problem solving skills - must be resourceful and creative with solutions Solid PC skills including knowledge of MS Office (Word and PowerPoint) Strong Microsoft Excel skills utilizing advanced functions such as pivot tables, lookups, graphing, etc. Experience working with relational databases and query tools including the ability to create tables, queries, reports, etc. Experience with Hyperion and/or Brio query tools.
