 ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

 

You will have the opportunity to design and implement Cisco technology; providing voice, data, and security solutions. Responsibilities include network design and architecture while providing advice and/or recommendations to clients regarding Cisco product configurations. 

 

Specific Responsibilities include:

 

· Implement networking technologies and solutions based on networking designs

· Design network solutions to meet client networking requirements

· Test network to ensure it is functioning as planned

· Work with clients to identify business and technical networking requirements

· Document network architectures and work completed

· Support and transition networking solutions to a network support organization (This includes supporting networking infrastructure during transition and training the new support team).

· Train people within the organization and attend administrative meetings

· Manage project plans and supervise project team members

· Personal development/training

 

 INFORMATION ON QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum 2-5 years of experience  in a similar role working with Cisco Network products and client consulting

· Core Network routing and switching experience-Cisco specific is a must

· CCNP certification is required, CCIE is preferred

· Specific  knowledge and experience with Cisco voice, security and infrastructure products is desired

· Up to 50% out of state travel is likely

· Strong communications skill required

 

 EDUCATION

A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline is preferred. Demonstrated performance in a technical work environment will be considered.  Growth in technical skills through certifications (MCSE/CCNP/CCIE) or other similar achievements is required.
